Currently a first-year graduate student, I am pursuing a full-time Master's degree in Journalism with the focus of Media Innovation and Content Strategy at Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism.
I obtained my Bachelor's degree at the University of Missouri, where I majored in Convergence Journalism with a specialization in multimedia producing. During my two years' stay in Missouri, I have gained hands-on reporting and producing experience by working as a multimedia journalist for KBIA-FM, Missouri Business Alert, KOMU, and the Columbia Missourian.
I have always been curious about new things that are happening around and wanting to discover the stories behind them. I love talking to people and learning from different insights. My curiosity has allowed me to witness the power and importance of voices from people and communities. Now, I want to share that with the public.
I believe in the objectivity and significance of journalism. I also enjoy sharing facts and information with the public as a storyteller. With the passion for new technologies and emerging media, I would like to use my multimedia skills to make news easily accessible and digestible for people who care about their society and want to be informed.
